As the cruise line celebrates its 150-year anniversary, Holland America Line is adding more 2023 cruise dates for its “Canada Super Sale” promotion that feature up to 20% off fares on select sailings.
Available through December 31, 2022, the “Canada Super Sale” is offering guests exclusive savings with a diverse selection of Alaska, Panama Canal, Caribbean, and European cruises.
Holland America Line’s ‘Canada Super Sale’
The 150-year-old Holland America Line is extending “Canada Super Sale” cruise offerings for 2023 with discounted fares of up to 20% on select sailings with a variety of port and itinerary choices.
Guests can take advantage of this savings option through December 31, 2022, and choose from a variety of options for Caribbean, Pacific Coast, Alaska, and Panama Canal departures, providing Canadian cruisers with more options at discounted rates.
With hopes to ease the exchange rate on departures from a convenient Canadian homeport, the “Canada Super Sale” will offer Canadians an array of 2023 European voyages that visit the Baltic, British Isles, Iberia, Iceland, and the Mediterranean.
The Chief Commercial Officer of Holland America Line, Beth Bodensteiner stated, “With the current exchange rate, the Canada Super Sale makes booking a cruise vacation cost-effective for our Canadian travelers.”
“We’re excited to feature some of our most popular destinations in this offer, with easy-access departures to many exciting closer-to-home regions, along with bucket-list locations in Europe that become more economical with the savings,” Bodensteiner added.
The limited-time offering also gives guests access to select sailings from Norway or options to explore transatlantic voyages between North America and Europe, including the line’s 150th Anniversary Transatlantic commemorative cruise to disembark in Rotterdam on April 18, Holland America Line’s 150th birthday.
Included Departure Options
Guests looking for an Alaskan adventure can book through the line’s “Canada Super Sale” to visit Explore Glacier Bay and the captivating towns of the Inside Passage onboard Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, or the 61,396 gross ton Volendam.
For sailings to Alaska from April through September 2023, guests can choose from several discounted fares for seven or 14-day voyages, sailing roundtrip from Vancouver or between Vancouver and Whittier, Alaska.
Additionally included in the sale, the line is offering Cruisetours ranging from nine to 18 days that visit Denali National Park in combination with an Alaska cruise, and options to extend up into the Yukon, an exclusive cruise line offering.
Traveling through the Pacific Northwest, “Canada Super Sale” encompasses seven cruises in April and May cruising roundtrip from Vancouver, or between Vancouver and San Diego or Seattle, with one to five-day itineraries on five ships in Victoria, British Columbia, and Astoria, Oregon.

From January through April 2023, onboard five different Holland America Line ships, guests can take advantage of this savings opportunity on Caribbean cruises ranging from a three-day sampler to a 21-day Collectors’ Voyage that combines non-repeating itineraries.
During this promotion, the cruise line is including 14- to 21-day Panama Canal cruises from January through April 2023 on four of its ships, visiting scenic ports in Coast Rica, Colombia, Mexico, Guatemala, and the Caribbean and departing from both the east and west coasts for convenience.
From April through October 2023, guests can additionally save on Europen cruises that visit the fjords of Norway to the beaches of Greece, aboard Nieuw Statendam, Oosterdam, the 99,935 gross ton Rotterdam, and Zuiderdam from a variety of ports.
